Champagne Lanson
Notre Maison de Champagne
Founded in 1760, Lanson is the fourth oldest Champagne House.
Drawing on our family heritage and unique expertise, the men and women of Lanson have been guided for more than 260 years by their love of a job well done and their love for others.
The unique and authentic style of our Champagnes rests on 4 immutable pillars: a meticulous selection of Crus; a vinification according to the traditional Champagne principle; a rare collection of reserve wines, and a longer ageing in cellars.
Hervé Dantan, Lanson Winemaker, carefully crafts elegant wines, that are characterised by an inimitable freshness, fruitiness and vitality.
Lanson Champagnes bring people together. They are made to be gifted and shared with our cherished ones. The Lanson Cross, carefully marked on each bottle, is timelessly emblematic of this philosophy.
Nos produits
"The Lanson style is the fruit of many precise actions that form a chain from the vine to the moment we taste the wine. But if I had to single out what makes Lanson wines so special, I'd say our fresh and elegant style, which we owe to a combination of a precise choice of grapes, the rich quality of our reserve wines, prolonged ageing, and a traditional vinification method with predominantly non-malolactic fermentation. A method that Lanson wishes to protect because of the incredible freshness and vitality it brings to our wines. Few Houses practise this vinification method and we are proud of safeguarding this distinctive approach to making Champagne. The Lanson style is also the result of an extraordinary history and heritage that we hold on to through our reserve wines and our magnificent collection of vintages that starts with the year 1904 — an incredibly rich legacy!"
